Chapter 6
– tea taken aurally

Double Duchess ruby
appeared –
counting agenda on
her silent pearls
reaching agreed
conclusion with
her reflection in the service

then to sloth:
“here we are
dear primate, both –
look how
we are ignored
by the Rose of Sharon
see the
way we
are thought of
as disassociated conspirators
by the surrounding
taking tea
on yet another afternoon
as we
wrestle with
praxis of purpose”

as core of conversation,
is a flux centered thing”
– sloth offered as he
tippled his oolong
with assistance from
his helpful flask
“missions are learned
as missions are

D.D.r. transendented

– silver chimed against
as she began
to de-atomized

sloth turned
and addressed
the window
rubbing imagination
to bring forth oracle

this was to be, however,
a ‘no mist shall rise’ morning

for the moment
fluxes interruptus
held the floor

§ One Response to Bewilderhof – 6

  • John Stevens says:

Fred – having enjoyed so many poems from you over the last 2-3 years, I am carefully reading my way through your Bewilderhof chapters in the right order. I’m afraid however that I seem to be having a bit of a ‘no mist shall rise’ afternoon. Never mind, I shall continue with curiosity.
