the speed in which he left

one day before he turned one
hundred he died, that was back in
nineteen and
eighty, now what’s left of him is
six feet below the surface of Pittsburg –
I heard tell there was about a
thousand people there, come from
miles around to see him off, they
all said he put in a day and a half
per day his whole life, and wasn’t
about to give one
second more, no sir, not a one
