she exits the bank
her gloved hands
on the walker
long coat
her scarf

his gait a rythmic
loosely worn
urban beat aura
sleeveless white shirt
pants down around his ass
the crisp flat brim

as they pass
both shake their heads

this greeting,
a familiar
of disconnect,

is silently absorbed
by the sounds
